Based on interviews with hundreds of brain injury survivors and family members, and over 20 years of specialized traumatic brain injury services, we have published a series of instructional manuals aimed at giving families and caregivers the tools needed to continue therapeutic rehabilitation in the home.

» Brain Injury Rehabilitation: Basic Principles and Techniques
» Toilet Training: Bowel and Bladder Continence Training Programs
» Basic Self-Care: Dressing, Eating, Toileting, Hygiene, and Grooming Skills
   » Transfer Techniques: A Step-By-Step Procedure

Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation (2nd Edition; 2004) provides a concise source of information about the scientific and therapeutic realms involved in the rehabilitation of the traumatically brain-injured patient, specifically as they relate to persistent deficits. It is intended as a reference for pharmacological, anatomical and physiological information for basic therapeutic rationales that are not well-understood in the field, such as cognitive and vestibular rehabilitation. It offers specific therapeutic approaches and other information that would otherwise be available only through extensive readings from multiple sources.
