   Robert P. Lehr, Jr., Ph.D.

Robert P. Lehr is a Professor of Anatomy, Emeritus, School of Medicine at Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Lehr received his Masters and Doctoral Degrees at Baylor University in 1971. Dr. Lehr was a professor at the Southern Illinois School of Medicine from 1973-1996, Chairman of Communication Disorders and Sciences from 1983-1984; 1992-1995, and Assistant Dean of the School of Medicine from 1975-1978. Dr. Lehr was a Fulbright Professor in Solvenia, 1978-1979 and Hacettepe University Medical School, Turkey, 1987-1990 and 1992. He was Visiting Scholar at Oxford University, UK, Department of Neuropathology, in 1991 and Visiting Professor Wroclaw University, Poland, 1980; Christian Medical College, India, 1985; Northeast Normal University, China, 1985; National Spinal Injuries Centre, UK, 1980; 1988. Dr. Lehr is currently sitting on the Independent Scientific Review Panel (ISRP) of the New Jersey Commission on Traumatic Brain Injury Research (NJCTBIR). He has published numerous research articles in the field.
